twisted. and wrong.

there are sometimes those moments when you visit home and you wonder if your mother has officially...erm, lost it.

i walked into my mother's kitchen only to stumble upon the sunday afternoon "snack" perched on the counter, um in it's finest sunday dress:

if i wasn't questioning my genetic pre-disposition to such twisted behavior already, i certainly am now.

um yeah--i'm going to chalk it up to shock therapy toward a vegan lifestlye. ahem.

er, yes. my mom rocks, in sort of a "i'm am going to dress up this chicken, give it an onion head with a lime hat--then carve it from neck to navel and leave a dressed up, picked over carcass to scar you and countless others for life. don't mind me while i stand over here and carve my veggies into adorable figures so you can snap their organic little heads off with your gnashing teeth"

it's okay, i'm fine. please pass the lithium. thank you.

[note to human resources: i am not actually on lithium, that's a joke]
